| The digital drawings always start with a photograph. The photograph is broken down into layers. Each layer is blurred, cloned, pasted and given various levels of opacity and colour. The drawings are then printed on a variety of papers or on canvas. WHITE WITCHES GOYA, a series of four lightjet drawings are printed on canvas. The photograph used to make all four drawings was taken at the Alhambra in Spain and is of a tree covered in cotton like pods. This image allowed for a gesture and a line that gives this drawing a surface that even up close lies somewhere between painting and photography.
